Z06...and the Z stands for Zaluda…Stan and Nancy, that is.  Stan is an army veteran and a graduate of Rutger’s University.  He worked as a chemist for 40 years.  Most of his career was spent with the 3M Company.  One of Stan’s projects was scotch guard and we all know and love scotch guard.  Another project Stan worked on while working at Kellogg Engineering was the atomic bomb.  As a young student at Rutger’s, Stan went to a seminar where none other than Albert Einstein himself spoke.  Also on the dais with the master egghead was Wernher von Braun.  You may remember that name as the inventor of the V2 rockets used in World War II.  Stan is no stranger to famous people.  When his career took him to Alabama, he hobnobbed with the governor at the local country club.  That governor was George Wallace.  Knowing the governor could only help because you have to ask Stan about the moonshine days and drag racing his ’59 Cadillac.  Stan’s career moved him around the world.  When transferred to Minnesota, he met the love of his life in Nancy.  Nancy was born and raised in Minneapolis.  She admits that her batteries of life were almost dead, then Stan came along to give her the jump start she needed.  The couple met at a singles dance and have been doing the tango ever since.  They have been married for 22 years.  Stan, like most of us guys, was always a motorhead.  His first car was a 1937 Chevy and he forked over $100 bucks for this jewel.  Now, Nancy on the other hand, was never interested in cars except for now.  She flat out loves their Corvette.  When I asked them what their all time favorite car was, they instantly, without hesitation, answered the Z06.  Living in Florida since ’92, Stan and Nancy keep busy these days with online trading and as evidenced by the picture, TAE KWON DO.  When you’re at an event or a meeting, say hello to these guys.  They offer some fascinating experiences.
