Mel & Loretta Haines
Welcome, Loretta & Mel Haines who came to our state 5 years ago. The Haines came to us from Hastings on the Hudson, N.Y.
Mel managed the Tri-Borough Bridge & Tunnel, while Loretta taught school from Harlem to Hastings and Hofstra University.
They reside in Pristine Place with their loving pug " Miss Bell".
The Haines know there way around the water too and taught Power Sqd. classes in New York and Mel is a past Commodore of the
Hernando Beach Yacht Club. Those of you that are New York Yankees fans will have to chat with Loretta, whose grandfather " Happy Kiernan" was a pitcher in the 30's with the Babe!
Make them welcome as they pull in, driving their white C4 Corvette, that was suppose to be a "Truck ?" You'll have to ask them about that story!
